The southern stretch of the Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast) begins, beyond Romazzino, with the wide inlet of Cala di Volpe preceded, to the north, by the five lovely beaches of Capriccioli - La Celvia and by the little beach of the Elephant. South of the settlement of Cala di Volpe, with the homonymous famous hotel and few villas immersed in the green, one meets first the beach of Petra Niedda, then the three small beaches of Cala Petra Bianca, all reachable by easy pathways, winding through the thick Mediterranean macchia. The loveliest beach is situated on the southern boundary of the wide gulf, well protected by the promontory of Monte dell’Isola. It is up of Liscia Ruia, the biggest beach on the Emerald Coast as well as one of the most beautiful in Sardinia because of its exceptional natural characteristics. An over 500 metre long arc of very fine, rosy sand, delimits a bay washed by very clear, pure waters and framed by the thick arbutus and cistus macchia of the plain behind, with its thick juniper bushes pushing nearly as far as the sea. Every year this beach in meeting point for all the ViP from all over the world
who came here for a luxury motor yacht charter in this corner of paradise of sardinia.
