Villasimius is a small village of just 3000 inhabitants, about 50 minutes drive from Cagliari, that during the summer months counts up to 60.000 visitors per month. All thanks to the innumerable, wonderful places, that leave everyone breathless. But Villasimius is not only beaches and sea; it also has plenty of discos, night clubs, pizzerias and restaurants. It's one of the preferred destinations for the "night people".
Not to be missed is the large beach of Campulongu appearing in the Capo Carbonara gulf, where you might often come across cormorants. Near Capo Carbonara there is a marina, recently restored and modernised for the needs of those who choose sailing yacht charters as a mean of transportation to visit this corner of paradise. Not to be missed too is the beautiful Simius beach, characterised by the sea's warm temperature. This is due to the area's morphology, protected from the sea currents and abundant with marine animals and plants.
