Milazzo is a town on the north coast of Sicily, Italy. It lies 50 km from Messina just north of the road to Palermo. It is located on a Peninsula called "Capo di Milazzo". Capo Milazzo is a long, finger-like peninsula projecting due north into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The harbor of Milazzo is sheltered on the east side of the base of the peninsula. The town is dominated by the ancient Castle and it is surrounded by the sea. The western beach is very long with a view of the islands of Alicudi, Filicudi, Salina, Lipari and Vulcano. The sunsets you can admire from here are simply unique and unforgettable. Milazzo has always been a favourite holiday place for Italians and you can experience the true Italian lifestyle. In Milazzo is also located Rex Siciliae one of the most luxutěry ketch (gulet) of the whole Mediterranean sea.
