Easily reachable from Rome within one hour either by train or by car; extremely beautiful and surrounded by the ancient and impressive Medieval Village, the "Marina" of Neptune is characterised by style and efficiency : technical assistance, services and modern structures thought to satisfy the most demanding clients both Italians and Internationals. Born in 1986, the functionality harboured has won in very few years the title of real protagonist in being one of the most important tourist harbour of Middle Italy. Today as yesterday the "Marina" is always up to date, ready to accept challenges which come from the sea. Since 1987 the Foundation for Environmental in Europe and the EC Environmental Department have given their approval on the "Marina" of Neptune's services and appointed it with the "European Blue Flag".
 Due to its ideal climatic conditions the port, that hosts the Sailing Club, is also considered one of the best places for Off Shore and Sailing competitions. Each year the waters of its gulf host Italian, European and World Sailing Games. Expressly built for the national and international sailing and navigation, the tourist harbour has been realised with particular carefulness and attention to details. It extend for 3000 meters of quays, with 14 wharves and has 800 boat places to which correspond as many car places. Inside the harbour where there is also a good shipyard, the moorings are without anchor; also at the Kat ways. The boat riggings are assisted from the control tower , while a modern filling station in available for the seamen. The access by car is allowed by an identify magnetic card. The functional commercial centre makes the "Marina" not only an interesting stop for seamen, but also a modern meeting place for the inhabitants of Neptune. A restaurant, a bank, a snack-bar, four bars, shop of nautical accessories and others again, have been though in reply to all the client’s requirements. From Nettuno you can easily start your romantic sailing charter or catamaran sailing holiday to Tuscan Archipelago, among the enchanting islands of Giannutri, Giglio or Elba, or to the Pontine islands route, visiting Palmarola, Ponza and Ventotene, then sail towards the Amalfi coast and visit Amalfi, Ppsitano and Sorrento, or with more weeks or a motorboat you can enjoy a luxury motor yacht cruise and reach amazing destinations as Cinque Terre and Italian Riviera.
