Stintino is a sleepy fishing village among the most famous in Sardinia for its amazing beach. In this little town you can find seafood restaurants, pizzarias, ice cream bars and your local shopping facilities. There are tourist information centres about Stintino in Alghero Airport. In Stintino there are two harbours, one being the tourist harbour and the second the working fishing harbour. In tourism season there is a fish market. Scuba Diving is very popular with dive sites over live coral reef. There are numerous dive centres offering packages. Kite surfing is extremely popular due to the prevailing winds. There is a water sports centre on La Pelosa offering windsurfing and Hobby Cats. The Pelosa beach is considered the most beautiful beach in Italy: white sand and shallow calm waters protected by the small islet and reef.
You can wade across to the Islet and explore the Spanish tower of La Pelosa Beach with views across to the Island of Asinara, a nature reserve in which we will bring you by boat from Stintino Harbour. Ramblers can walk over the Capo Falcone headland to find undeveloped beaches on the North West coast of Sardinia with rugged cliffs and exposed sea. From Stintino harbour starts our three National Parks sailing cruise: an exclusive cruise inside the Sanctuary of Marine Mammals, sailing for a week in the 3 Marine Parks among the most beautiful of the Mediterranean; Island of Asinara, Island of Lavezzi and the Maddalena Archipelago. A week in contact with the uncontaminated sea, cetacean and every kind of fish you can imagine, simply wearing a mask and putting the head under water. But Stinitino is also a good base for a luxury motor yacht charter among some of the "hot spots" of the West med like Emerald Coast (Porto Cervo and Palau), French Riviera (Nice, Montecarlo, Cannes), and the Italian Riviera (Portovenere, Portofino and the "Gulf of Poets", the "Cinque Terre Sailing Cruise" and Camogli).
